We wish to share an important update on the future of our rolling mill to provide clear information to support project planning over the coming months.
After many years of faithful service, the Rolling mill has now entered a period of rest while maintenance and upgrades are carried out to bring the machinery in line with modern standards. Maintaining equipment of this age requires both respect for traditional engineering and sensitivity to present day expectations of performance. The objective of these works is to ensure that wrought iron production continues with the quality and reliability the heritage sector depends upon.
We will continue to support clients with advice, materials already in stock and guidance on planning ahead. Work is expected to conclude within 12 months and our intention is to resume rolling in 2027.

Wrought iron was used for centuries in all forged metalwork until the early 1900s. Today, Topp & Co. is the only remaining supplier of re-rolled genuine wrought iron in the world.
TRY OUR RE-ROLLED WROUGHT IRON FOR YOURSELF
At Topp & Co. we re-roll genuine puddled wrought iron in our own traditional hot-rolling mill. We roll wrought iron in 4ft, 6ft and 8ft lengths. To help promote the use of genuine puddled wrought iron, we offer 10kg sample bundles containing mixed sizes and sections, which give you the chance to experiment with the material in specific applications.
