Jerome Peycher

Topp & Co. Managing Director Jerome Peycher is eager to build on the proud heritage established by company founder, Chris Topp.

Jerome has taken the business forward into new areas of expertise that embrace our skills and apply them to a modern architectural context. As a business, we like to be challenged, and we see technology as a tool that can help advance our work – serving to enhance our traditional skills, not replace them.

Chris Topp established the company in 1982, and led it to become one of the largest and most respected blacksmithing workshops in the UK. Today, Jerome’s vision for Topp & Co. is to encourage the continuous development of our services and products by investing in skills training and enhancing our metalworking facilities.

We are constantly seeking new opportunities and markets for our talents and expertise, ensuring we continue to innovate and diversify our capabilities for new and exciting applications. Our workshop is now fully equipped with the specialist tools needed by one of the leading architectural metalwork companies, and we are fully accredited to EN1090.

To lead the way in our industry requires collaboration with carefully aligned partners. Our relationships with leading architects, designers, specialist contractors, conservation experts and practitioners is central to our ability to meet the exacting standards required by our customers.

Topp & Co. supplies architectural metalwork worldwide. We have the operational and logistics management expertise to take care of your entire project, including specification, shipping, delivery and installation. Where required we can send our own installers overseas to coordinate with local specialists on your behalf.

Setting the standard

Quality is our watchword at Topp & Co. That’s why we invest in meeting internationally recognised standards and in training our people to maintain their industry-leading skill levels. Topp & Co. is UKCA approved for the supply of fabricated steelwork up to Execution Class 2 for structural steel staircases, balustrades and handrails. We are fully accredited to BS EN 1090-1 – Execution Class 2. We have also received accreditation from Safecontractor for our commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety. To further demonstrate our competence, credibility, and commitment to excellence we have been accredited the prestigious construction line gold membership level.
