WROUGHT IRON PRODUCTION UPDATE

Topp and Co. wish to share an important update on the future of our rolling mill to provide clear information to support project planning over the coming months.

After many years of faithful service, our rolling mill has now entered a period of rest while maintenance and upgrades are carried out to bring the machinery in line with modern standards.

Maintaining equipment of this age requires both respect for traditional engineering and sensitivity to present day expectations of performance. The objective of these works is to ensure that wrought iron production continues with the quality and reliability the heritage sector depends upon.

We remain committed to keeping the traditional material of wrought iron available and are using this period to secure the future of the rolling mill. We will continue to support clients with advice, materials already in stock and guidance on planning ahead. Work is expected to conclude within 12 months and our intention is to resume rolling in 2027.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to our customers and the wider heritage community for their patience and understanding during this important period of renewal.

Further updates will be posted on this website.
