Gates and railings for the country estate of a very good customer of ours in the south of France

This set of gates and railings were designed by Bethan Griffiths. The specification was for the very best so we were able to indulge ourselves. All the forge work was in puddled wrought iron, rolled largely from Admiralty chain. Forge welding was used wherever possible – there was no electric welding, just tenons and riveting. The choice of colour really helps to subtly blend the ironwork into its surroundings
