Estate lodge entrances for private customer in Cheshire

Designed by Sir Hugh Casson, made and installed by Topp & Co. in the 1990’s.

These estate entrances Included two large iron piers with equestrian pedestrian gates and smaller pier either side. Four short railing panels, one from each pier, protect the cattle grid and ha ha. The Wing railings terminate with another pier. All piers are square in section, the main carriage way opening 10’ wide.

Deer Fence Cottage Entrance Gates

This entrance to the same estate was also made in Puddled wrought iron with cast iron posts. Designed by Sir Hugh Casson and made by Topp & Co in the 1990’s. Traditional blacksmithing techniques and methods of construction, railings either side of cattle grid and equestrian gate with railing panel to protect drop to a ha ha.
