Cast Bronze gates for a customer in London
These Incredible automated sliding gates and overthrow were cast in bronze
We used CAD modelling software to produce the designs that once approved could then be used to 3d print the patterns required for the foundry to cast the gates and overthrow.
Producing patterns directly from the CAD model removes the need for the traditional pattern maker to interpret the approved design. In short this means that what you see and approve is what you get. The use of bronze allowed the foundry to create the fine detail required for the design of these gates. The gates were then painted and gilded with gold leaf to highlight the decorative features.
