A commission for a client in California who had learnt of our reputation for being able to deliver the quality his project demanded.

Working closely with the architect and main contractor to realise the clients vision for this stunning bronze and glass balustrade. The subtle design allowed us to emphasise the beauty of bronze as a premium choice material for balustrades. The infill panels were cut utilising our in house water jet cutting machine then we machined a shadow recess  around the design using a CNC router. Finally the finishing touch was a lightly chiselled surface texture carefully applied by hand.

The panels had a dark patina applied and were then waxed to allow the texture to be highlighted by the flood of daylight from the windows in daytime and from the chandelier in the evening.  The framework and handrail were finished with a light patina and waxed to offer contrast with both the infill panels and the curved glass.

The balustrade was packed and shipped overseas for our team to install.
