This contemporary gate design by Chris Topp was produced as an exhibition piece by Terje, a Norwegian blacksmith who spent some time with us developing his forge working skills. This gate is made from genuine wrought iron and uses purely traditional forging techniques, even the leaves are fire welded believe it or not. it also includes some clever joining techniques.

This gate won 1st prize at the Great Yorkshire in 2006
